Return and Refund Policy
APASL Single Topic Conference (STC) Dhaka 2026

This Return and Refund Policy (“Policy”) sets out the official guidelines for registration modifications, cancellations, replacements, and refunds for the APASL Single Topic Conference (STC) Dhaka 2026 (the “Congress”). It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
By registering for the Congress, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Policy.
1. How to submit a request
All replacement or cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to the Congress Secretariat. Requests are processed according to the date on which they are received.
2. Refund and replacement schedule
Administrative fees and replacement options vary based on the date the request is submitted and your registration category. In each case you may choose either a refund (less the applicable administration fee) or a complimentary replacement.

3. Policy from 16 November 2026 onwards
- No refunds will be provided for any registration category from this date forward.
- Participant replacements are permitted across all categories, subject to an administration fee of $100 (International Delegates) or 1,650 BDT (Local Delegates).
4. Refund processing
Approved refunds will be systematically processed within Seven to Ten Working Days after the conclusion of the Congress. Refunds will be made via telegraphic transfer or credited back through the original credit-card payment method, where applicable.
Any bank charges, currency-conversion costs, or transfer fees associated with a refund may be deducted from the amount returned.
5. Insurance and liability
By registering for the Congress, participants explicitly acknowledge and agree that neither the Organising Committee nor the Congress Secretariat shall be held liable for any personal or property loss, injury, damage, or expense incurred throughout the duration of, or in connection with, the event.
Participants retain sole responsibility for arranging their own health, travel, luggage, and any other necessary personal insurance coverage.
In the event of strikes, floods, fires, force majeure, acts of God, or any other exceptional circumstances completely beyond the reasonable control of the Organising Committee or the Congress Secretariat, neither party shall be held legally or financially liable for any resulting loss, damage, cancellation, or disruption.
